March has been an incredible month for riding. Six rides so far and now that the path is finally clear of snow, some have been in excess of thirty kilometers. I managed a total of fourteen rides in winter and so far one in spring. That's right folks, it's finally spring in the Great White North.

The drifts of snow have disappeared at an alarming rate. Where I had to portage through four or five inches, the pathway is now bone dry. I hope I'm wrong but methinks this has all the makings of a drought year. There is very little gound moisture and some of the sloughs have not filled at all.

My photography also appears to be improving as more and more of my pictures are attracting kind words from other Flikr members. The Fuji FinePix continues to amaze me as does the ACD See software that came with Maureen's camera. Between the two it's almost impossible to take a bad photograph.

Spring has finally arrived! Enjoy!
